Hazel Aletha Allen

Hazel A. Allen, 94, of Pender, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Pender Care Centre. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender, with the Rev. Margaret Olson officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Crofton City Cemetery in Crofton, Ne at 2:00 p.m. also on Monday. Hazel Aletha Roberts-Allen was born on March 8, 1913 to Everett and Kate (Hunt) Roberts in Wareham, Ne. She attended school south of Randolph, Ne, marrying Francis Allen on September 24, 1934 in Elk Point South Dakota. The couple then moved to California during World War II where both were employed by Lockheed Corporation building airplanes. They moved back to Nebraska n 1948, residing in Walthill until 1976 when they moved to Crofton, NE. Francis died on April 8, 1988. Hazel moved to Pender in 1995. Hazel is survived by one sister, Ruth Ritter, one niece Clare Schroeder of Marshalltown, MN, as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis, six brothers and three sisters.
