Click here to view video tribute. Hilda Meyer, 95, of Pender, Nebraska died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Pender Care Centre in Pender, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Pender, Ne with the Rev. Steven Tjarks officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pender. Hilda Augusta Rika (Kratke) Meyer was born on October 13, 1912 on the family farm south of Pender, Nebraska, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Brehmer) Kratke. She was baptized on November 3, 1912, and confirmed on March 28, 1926 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of rural Pender. Hilda attended Cuming County District #57 school. She was united in marriage to Glenville Meyer on June 14, 1939 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of rural Pender. They farmed west of Pender until moving into Pender in 1986. Hilda was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid of the Church, the C.C. Club and the Pender Senior Citizens Center. Hilda is survived by her daughters: Kathleen Gralheer and her husband Deree of Pender, Ne; Glenda Hansen and her husband Roger of Lakewood, Co; and Carolyn Meyer of Lincoln, Ne, sister Betty Simonsen of Pender, sister-in-law Margie Kratke of Pender, and brother-in-law Delwin Piper of Lyons, Ne. She is also survived by ten grandchildren Glenn Gralheer, Linette Butler and her husband John, Gavin Gralheer and his wife Shelly, Tami Linke and her husband Tim, Rhonda Ragsdale and her husband Brent, and Jodi McCasland and her husband Paul, Joel Denney, Jennifer Fritch and her husband Matthyew, Joshua Denney, and Melanie Denney, and seventeen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenville, brothers: DeLoy Kratke, Wilbur Kratke, and Harlan Kratke.
