Charles Louis Arickx

Charles L. Arickx, 66, of Wayne, Nebraska died on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home in Wayne after a long battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Bible Evangelical Free Church of Wayne, NE; Pastor James Seal will be officiating. A memorial visitation will begin at 10:30 on Wednesday morning before the service. Memorials are suggested to Providence Hospice of Wayne. Chuck was born on August 31, 1945 in Osage, IA, the son of Ray and Juanita (Adams) Arickx. After graduating from high school, Charles joined the United States Air Force, and served from 1967 until 1971. He later attended school at the Hawkeye Institute of Technology and Wayne State College. On March 19, 1986, Chuck was united in marriage to Debbie Beeson in Greely, Colorado. To this union two children were born: Corissa and David. He worked in several places over the years including Minneapolis, Greely, and Colorado Springs, before moving to Wayne where he worked for Vakoc and then for Heritage Homes for the past 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Debbie, daughter Corissa of Alaska, son David of Wayne, NE, sister Janice (Elmer) Schonrock of Winnebago, MN, and brothers Mark Arickx of Osage, IA and Ray Arickx of St. Ansger, IA. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Juanita, a brother Donald and sisters-in-law Wendy Arickx and Carol Arickx.
