Deloris Siebrandt

Deloris Hulda Anna (Greve) Siebrandt, 92, of Wakefield, NE, passed away March 31, 2016 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Sioux City, IA. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield, NE; Pastor William Bertrand will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE. Deloris was born June 24, 1923 in rural Wakefield, NE, to Henry and Martha (Hansen) Greve. She was baptized July 22, 1923 by Rev. Borneman and confirmed June 20, 1937 by Rev. Gerdes at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in rural Wakefield. She attended school at District 27, Wayne County through 8th grade. She moved to Wakefield with parents in May, 1936, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1940. After high school she was employed at Harry Larsen’s Law Office and Dr. C.B. Coe’s Clinic from 1940 to 1946. Deloris was married to Erwin Siebrandt on November 30, 1947 by Rev. Keick at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in rural Wakefield. To this union, five children were born; Karen, Nancy, Larry, Keith, and Janet. Once her children were all in school, she then began working at M.G. Walbaum Company and worked there from 1968 to 1989. Deloris enjoyed flowers, gardening, visiting, and playing cards. She was a member of the Fireman’s Auxiliary and the Even Dozen Club. Most of all, Deloris enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Deloris is survived by her children; Karen (Dennis) Adams of Omaha, NE, Nancy (Dennis) Zvacek of Pender, NE, Larry (Julie) Siebrandt of Wakefield, NE, Keith (Jane) Siebrandt of Omaha, NE, Janet (John) Heath of Winterset, IA; grandchildren, Aaron (Jennifer) Adams, Heather Adams, Sherry (Ryan) Roeber, Collin Zvacek (friend Amber), Rodney Zvacek, Jennifer (Chad) Kuchta, Steve (Tina) Siebrandt, Shannon (Ronnie) Schlabs, Sarah Siebrandt, Nathan (Jessica) Heath; great grandchildren, Calder Adams, Ruby Adams, Kylie Roeber, Zachary Roeber, Ashlyn Roeber, Evan Kuchta, Graceln Siebrandt, Asa Siebrandt, Savanah Siebrandt, Landon Schlabs, Dillion Schlabs and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin; granddaughter, Krista; three brothers and four sisters.
