Kenneth D. Krumwiede

Kenneth Dale Krumwiede, 61, of Walthill, NE died on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  Memorial services for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill, NE; Pastor Brion Tolzman will be officiating.  A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the University of Nebraska Medical Center Burn Unit.  Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Pender is in charge of the arrangements. Kenneth was born on February 1, 1955 in Oakland, NE, the son of Friedrich “Fritz” and Frances (Tryon) Krumwiede.  He attended Walthill High School, graduating in 1973.  Following graduation he farmed in the Walthill, NE area. Kenney last work for CHS Transportation. He enjoyed hunting, coin collecting, collecting toy tractors and was an avid Husker football fan.  He also enjoyed traveling to see his family and friends.  Kenneth is survived by his siblings: Albert (Patricia) Krumwiede of East Peoria, IL,  Lyle (Beverly) Krumwiede of Metamora, IL, Vernon (Pat) Krumwiede of Courtland, MO, Ellen Burns of Sioux City, IA, Betty (Ralph) Sommer of East Peoria, IL, Kathy (Aaron) Swinson of Melbourne, FL, Rita (Jack) Daughery of Spokane, WA, Mary Sisk of Spearfish, SD, Linda (Marshall) Logue of East Peoria, IL;    He is also survived by his horses Kramer, Jake & Marley, 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Krumwiede, Winston, Cody, Bear and Oreo - his fur babies.
