Donna B Evans

Donna B. Evans, 72, of Wayne, NE, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. Memorial services will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson, NE; Pastor Gretchen Ritola will be officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE. Donna was born November 28, 1944 in Emerson to Levi and Bess (Moore) Grove. She attended Emerson High School. Donna married Ron Evans in 1985 in Elk Point, South Dakota. Donna had a huge heart, she loved animals especially cats and dogs. Donna was a very welcoming person, her door was always open to anybody, including animals. She loved to sit on the front porch with Ron watching horses, and at night the moon and stars. She loved being outside taking walks, fishing, and camping. Donna is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Robert (Connie) Grove of Wakefield, NE, Ronald Grove of Wayne, NE; sister, Marge Bokemper of Emerson, NE; brother, Jim Grove of Kearney, NE, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Erma Gerling, Merna Fenderick, Shirley Sebade; brothers, Francy Grove, and Elmer Grove.
