Alexandrina Gardea

Alexandrina Gardea, 27, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Wakefield, NE, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 in Omaha due to previous health complications.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield. 

Alexandrina's family would like to express that with the COVID-19 mandated restrictions the visitation will be restricted to only allow 10 visitors at a time.   

Alexandrina was born in El Paso, TX, to Isidoro Gardea and Ofelia Calleros on September 17, 1992.  Alexandrina’s family moved to Wakefield when she was 5 years old.  She enjoyed swimming and other youthful activities until she was diagnosed with a chronic health issue.  Alexandrina enjoyed singing in the choir and working on countless art projects.  She attended and graduated from Wakefield High School in 2010.  Alexandrina continued her education by attending and graduating from Northeast Community College in Norfolk with an associate degree.  She moved to Omaha three years ago to work as a paraprofessional at Montessori Educational Centers. 

Alexandrina loved working with children and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them.  In her spare time, she liked running and completed a few half and full marathons.  Alexandrina had a very strong faith and preached to others about Jehovah and lived her life following the ways of Jehovah.  Her faith gave her a loving and caring personality and she enjoyed every moment with her friends and family. 

Alexandrina is survived by her parents, Isidoro and Ofelia Gardea of Wakefield, NE; brother, Eduardo Gardea of Omaha, NE; grandma’s, Epifania Diaz of Garden City, KS and Guadalupe Prieto of El Paso, TX; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
