Breana Lynn Beckmann

Breana Lynn Beckmann, 31, of Wakefield, NE, died on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE, following a battle with cancer.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield, with Reverend William Bertrand officiating.  The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church.  The burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE.

Breana was born on November 27, 1991, in Pender, NE, the daughter of Marlin and Ruth (Lehman) Beckmann.  Following her graduation from Pender High School in May of 2010, Breana attended Northeast Community College.  She earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013.  She had been working at Story Time in Sioux City as a paraprofessional.  Breana was an avid Husker fan, enjoyed reading and watching movies.

She is survived by her parents, Marlin and Ruth Beckmann of Wakefield, NE; sister, Carmen (Jason) Pease of Sioux City, IA; brother, Andrew Beckmann of Omaha, NE; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Breana was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; aunt, Caroline; and her beloved dog, Tate.
