Debra Sue Phipps

Debra Sue Phipps, 51, of Carroll, NE, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Church in Wakefield, NE with Pastor Bill Chase officiating. Burial will be in the Wakefield City Cemetery in Wakefield.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.  Deb was born April 9, 1966 to Donald and Mardell Phipps in Wakefield. She was raised with three brothers who all shared her interest in skating and bowling at their family business. Deb worked at Concord Components and Envisions. She moved to Carroll in 2017 and resided with her niece, Crystal. Deb enjoyed fishing, bird watching, and spending time with her family and friends. Deb is survived by her brothers, Douglas Phipps, Sr. of Wakefield, NE, Dale Phipps of Wakefield, NE, Dave Phipps of Omaha, NE; niece, Crystal (Joseph K.) Spell II of Carroll, NE; and nephew, Doug Phipps, Jr. of Norfolk, NE. Deb was preceded in death by her parents and Aunt Lillian.
