Jack T. Ring

December 5, 1953 — March 15, 2018

Jack Tracy Ring, 64, of Wausa, NE, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2018, surrounded by his family.  Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Pender, NE. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill, NE. Jack was born to Jackie Calvin and Evelyn Mae (Wayman) Ring on December 5, 1953 in Sioux City, IA.  Jack went on to marry Joan Wicky, which later ended in divorce.  Jack had four children in this union. In October of 1986, Jack was in a car accident that resulted in him spending the rest of his days in a nursing home and rehabilitation center. Jack loved coon hunting, fishing and fast cars.  He truly lived life to the fullest before his accident.  However, Jack never lost his love for life.  He was always laughing and clapping his hands when he was excited.  Jack loved singing songs and doing activities with his friends at the nursing home. Jack is survived by his four children, Jim (Stacy) Ring, J.T. Ring, Jack Ring and Jacqulin Ring all of Sioux City, IA, several grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He is also survived by three siblings, Calvin (Linda) Ring of Walthill, NE, Lenora McManigal of Walthill, NE and Alvin (Stacy) Ring of Pender, NE and several nieces and nephews.   Jack was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Norman Skinner and J.B. Ring.
