Jaykob "Budda" was born in Bozeman, MT on October 5, 1992. He lived in Livingston, MT until he was 5 years old when he moved with his family to Nebraska where he graduated from Wisner-Pilger Alternative School in 2011. He resided in Norfolk, NE for most of his adult life and had recently moved to Bancroft NE. Budda met his loving wife, Jazmine Kelton, on December 7, 2007, and they were married on June 27, 2017, in Rosalie, NE. He was our Peter Pan, the best hugger, a purveyor of bizarre and interesting factoids, quick-witted and goofy, a lover of eclectic music. From, Celtic to Metal to Disney and everything in between. He loved art and animals and was one of the most caring, genuine spirits the universe had ever given the world. Budda loved nature, hunting, fishing, herbology and alchemy. He was proud of his Irish heritage and had found out by research that his family was a descendant from a Clan with a "Bloody Hand" Crest. Budda was an enormous sense of joy to all and especially his nephews who just “knew” he was magic. They lovingly called him Uncle Booty Cheeks. He loved Renaissance Faire, cartoons, and chess, but absolutely hated Honey Badgers and glitter. Budda was a peace-loving man who would help a mouse as much as a moose. You never saw a man love as hard as he did, with everything he had inside him. As much as he hated glitter, his bright blue eyes would sparkle every time he looked at or even talked about the love of his life, Jazmine. He really would have snatched the moon right out the sky for her if he only could have. She meant everything and more to him and he was her absolute universe. There are no words to describe his passing, but we will all feel it. Luckily there will always be a part of Gaia that shines brighter with his soul inside of her.

Budda leaves behind his wife, Jazmine Greenfield; parents, Shane and Tina Greenfield; sister, Breannon Griffith, Amanda (Dan) Martens, Bailey Dahlkoetter; brother, Joshua Greenfield; grandparents, Don and Lorraine Hightree, Steve and Brenda Tilley; brother-in-law, Corey Short; uncles, Jess Tilley and Jay (Shannon) Greenfield; niece, Nevaeh Contreras; nephews, Franklin Jax Griffith, Waylon T.
