Jeneanne Voss

Jeneanne (Heelan) Voss, 82, of Emerson, NE passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, NE.  Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emerson, NE; with Father Gerald Leise Celebrating Mass.  Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday morning one hour prior to Mass at the church.  Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Emerson, NE.    Jeneanne was born on November 15, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska to Raymond and Dorthea (Beiersdorf) Heelan.  She attended and graduated from Emerson High School.  After graduation Jeneanne married Francis Voss.  She was the office manager for Emerson Manufacturing in Pender for several years.  Jeneanne enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics and bowling on occasion.  On Sunday mornings she liked going to Dakota City for breakfast with her friends and family.  Jeneanne is survived by her grandsons, Travis (Sadie) Voss and Tyler (Lori) Voss; great grandchildren, Bonnie, Bryan, Brooklyn; step-great grandchildren, Tanner and Ava; and sisters, Jackie Linahan and Josynne Sherlock. Jeneanne is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Voss; son, Greg “Kooter” Voss; one sister and two brothers.
