Judy M. Schroeder

Judith Marie (Glissman) Schroeder, 76, of Pender, Nebraska passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 15, 2018.  Memorial services will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Pender; Father Gerald Leise will be the celebrant. The memorial visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender. Judy was born January 7, 1942 in Pender, NE to Delmer and Helen (Simmons) Glissman. She graduated from Pender High School. On March 30, 1963, she married Harold George Schroeder and the couple had four children. Judy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and crafting, as well as gardening and baking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family making memories. Judy is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Scott) Pfeiffer of Vancouver, WA, Jill (Ken) Meirose of Sturgis, SD, Mary (John) Ruddy of Littleton, CO, and Amy (Lowell) Ostrand of Pender, NE; and brother, Jerry Glissman; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Helen; and grandson, Brian Pfeiffer.
