Jeannie Becker

Norma Jean Becker, also known as Jeannie, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2023, in Independence, MO, at the age of 92. She was born on February 6, 1931, in Creighton, NE, to her loving parents. Norma's family and friends will gather to remember her at at a luncheon to be held at the Walthill Methodist Church on Monday, November 20, 2023, following an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. 

Norma Jean, or Jeannie as she preferred to be called, had a passion for family, gardening, cooking, and solving crosswords puzzles. She found joy in nurturing her plants, creating delicious meals for her loved ones, and challenging her mind with crossword puzzles.

Norma Jean was a beloved mother to Mike Becker and his wife Deb Becker, and Nancy Grim and her husband John. She was also a cherished grandmother to Jackie Rathke and her husband Tyler, Jacob Becker and his wife Morgan, Hannah Grim, and Joseph Grim. Norma Jean's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Nelson Becker and Hudson Rathke.

Norma Jean's husband, Gene Becker, preceded her in death on April 11, 2004. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
