Robert LeRoy Puls

Robert "Bob" L. Puls, 69, of Wakefield, NE, died on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his home in Wakefield. A memorial graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wakefield Cemetery in Wakefield, NE; Pastor William Bertrand from St. John's Lutheran Church in Wakefield will be officiating. Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield is in charge of the services. Bob was born in Pender, NE on August 8, 1953, the son of Donald and Roberta (Clark) Puls. He attended and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1971. He worked for over 40 years at the Farmer’s Union Co-op and Central Valley Agriculture. He retired in 2020. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his cars, grilling and spending time with his friends and family. Bob is survived by his son, Justin (Niki) Puls, and their children, McKinley and Dakota of Palmyra, NE; daughter, Kelsey (Levi) Merrick and their son, Liam of Shakopee, MN. He is also survived by a brother, Richard Puls of Omaha, NE; sister, Kristin (Bruce) Jorgensen of Lincoln, NE; brother-in-law, Calvin Vander Veen of Wakefield, NE; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Kathy Vander Veen.
