Robert Weiershauser

  Robert "Bob" Weiershauser, 71, of Wakefield, Nebraska died on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Wakefield Health Care Center.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.  Visitation will begin on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.  Robert was born on July 10, 1946, to Arthur and Alma (Blohm) Weiershauser in Wakefield, Nebraska.  Bob attended and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1964.  After graduation he entered the Air National Guard in Sioux City, IA.  He started his working for the union at Port Neal as a truck driver.  After his dad was involved in a farming accident Bob moved back the Wakefield area to help on the family farm. He also drove truck for Hewitt Trucking.    Bob was a member at the Faith Independent Baptist Church in Wayne.  In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards and listing to old gospel music on the AM radio.  Bob loved his family and cherished every moment with them.  Robert is survived by his daughters, Bobbi Rott, Lora Langston Beyea and her husband Matt Beyea, Sara Weiershauser; grandchildren, Adrianne, Taylor, Paxson, Delaney, Sydnie, Kaden.  Robert is preceded in death by, his parents; brother, LeRoy Weiershauser.
