Stacey Alexander

Stacey Janelle (Carlsten) Alexander, 52, of Wayne, NE passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 18, 2018.  Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne, NE.  Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne.  Burial will be at a later date.  Memorials for Stacey are being placed in an account at the Wayne Veterinarian Clinic to spay and neuter stray cats.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE.Stacey was born April 27, 1965 to Kenneth and Ardyce (Simonsen) Carlsten in Pender, NE. She graduated from Pender High School in 1983 and from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Stacey married Dale Thomas Alexander, Jr. on October 26, 1991 at Harmon Park in Kearney, NE. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne and a member of the National Guard 189th Transportation Company Family Reddiness Group. Stacey enjoyed catching stray cats in the community, getting them fixed and into loving homes. She is survived by her husband, Dale Thomas Alexander, Jr. of Wayne, NE; daughters, Jordan Elise Carlsten Alexander and Jaci JaNae Carlsten Alexander of Wayne, NE; parents, Kenneth and Ardyce Carlsten of Pender, NE; sisters, Rhonda (Ken) Cahill of Sioux Falls, SD and Natalie (Bob) Gier of Lincoln, NE; cats, Binx and Luna; grandkittens, Moo Moo, Angel, and Marceline, and grandpuppy, Link.
